“Brilliant Late Afternoon Wine Session”

My wife and I had pedal-biked to Tiburon from San Fransisco that day and we stopped off at the Couloir Tasting Room as it looked so pretty in the sun. We were welcomed warmly and offered wine and then sat in the sun for the next 2 hours drinking some lovely whites and reds. We sat next to a lovely couple from Portland who joined-in on the chat and the drinking. It was a memorable few hours in such a sweet little place - all quiet and hidden, unless one had made the extra journey to Tiburon, rather than many other cyclists who had stopped and remained in Sausalito. What a special couple of hours that was - I would thoroughly recommend to anyone else and we cant wait to make the trip all the way back there form the UK sometime in the future. Special place.....

“Late afternoon tasting joy!”

A brief stop after shopping and before dinner at the Italian restaurant further up the hill, we were welcomed by Mary and given a lovely tasting experience. Added bonus! Mary informed us that the restaurant would waive their normal corkage charges if we mentioned Couloir Wines...Love this place, will definitely visit again!

Stopped in by chance to taste some wine and ended up buying several bottles. Mary was great very attentive and gave good advice on what to try. Located on quiet side street, for a great atmosphere. Just waiting for are wine to arrive.
"Jon Grant knows wine and that knowledge allows him to create awesome wines."

I tasted his Pinot Noirs and was mesmerized by the taste, smoothness, and texture. Yes, his Pinots have a delicate and fluid texture. I loved his Straight Line wines. They offer great value for the cost. His other line is also excellent.
I found his wine tasting venture serendipitously and I will return as often as I visit the SF area.
I encourage you to be enthralled by Jon's wines including his Sauvignon Blanc.

“Great Wine. Great Venue. Great Service.”
[5 of 5 stars]
Great everything! I don't normally write reviews but we just returned from a trip to San Francisco/Wine Country and this was the best wine tasting room we visited. While staying in San Francisco we took an enjoyable ferry ride over to Tiburon. This wine tasting room is a gem. Every taste was delicious and I walked out of there feeling like I know a little bit more about how the winemaking process impacts the flavors in the wine which was really appealing to me.
We visited wine country after San Francisco and enjoyed quite a few other wine tasting rooms. This was, by far, our favorite. Thanks for bringing the best wine country has to offer so close to San Francisco!

“Great wine and company”

My girlfriend and I were spending a day in Tiburon last weekend & we stopped by Couloir for a glass of wine. We were greeted by a VERY personable staff & were made to feel right at home. We ended up staying for a few glasses & walked out with a few great bottles.
Its right downtown, so its close to all sorts of restaurants. So you can stop by for a few glasses in the middle of the day, or just right before dinner. We'll be going back for sure & definitely recommend it.

“Amazing Wine Tasting Room”
[5 of 5 stars]
This wine tasting room is elegant and classy. I love the personal attention that you get when you walk in. There is indoor seating at the bar/tables, or you can enjoy the outdoor patio seating as well. The place has a modern decor and is perfect to relax and sip some of the delicious, hand-crafted Straight Line or Couloir wines. You won't be disappointed if you make a stop here. In addition, the owners are also dog-friendly and child-friendly. They have a dog water bowl and bed on the patio where your pup can relax, and an area for your children to create chalk drawings on the enclosed patio.
